Ettore font Family
Creation of the Ettore typographic family in collaboration with Estelle Heude, for the car manufacturer Bugatti.
The name Ettore is a tribute to Ettore Bugatti.
The purpose behind this project was to optimize the entire range of graphic implementations of the Bugatti brand, to harmonize and unify their identity through typography, starting from their logo and the shape of their emblematic radiator.
We created an egyptian font to extend the identity of the logo, included ink traps taken from the brand's iconic radiator's shape, and designed graceful lines that follow the curves of the Bugatti models, all in a mechanical and Italian spirit.
The specimen has been created as a technical sheet.

The font family includes a light, regular, bold and black in egyptian version, as well as an easier to read sans-serif version, created especially for the website and the technical sheets of the cars :

Ettore also includes an italic version (which is currently a work in progress), imagined specifically for the names of the models. It pursues the dynamic, graceful and egyptian spirit of the typography, while conveying an impression of speed :
